Shakeel Hussain came through a tough Final in the Mens -60kg division to earn himself the win and the WKU British Title against SN Combat Academy's Shehi Selvendran on Sunday at the Wolverhampton Race Course at the WKU British Open Championships.
Shak admitted after that he felt a little flat today and although he wasn't over happy with his performance he still found a way to pick up a Unanimous and convincing decision against an opponent in Shehi who was as game as they come.
In his first tournament as a Senior Shakeel had entered both the Adult -60kg K-1 and Full Contact divisions but after his K-1 win the his Semi Final match and the opponent he would have met in the final of his Full Contact divisions inexplicably decided that they no longer wanted to fight.
