02-11-25 - Clean sheet for USKA at the TMA Rising Stars IV / Afternoon Of Champions Fight Gala at the Hangar in Wolverhampton.
What a day we had today at the TMA Rising Stars IV ' Afternoon Of Champions Fight Gala at the Hangar in Wolverhampton.
We had three USKA Fighters involved in three 50 / 50 match ups including two title fights.
As well as that we were cheering for Bury Saint Edmonds Light Heavyweight 'Lightning' Leon Dunnett who was challenging for the ICO Professional European Light Heavyweight Title belt against Portugal's Danger man Hendrick Djalo.
Leon in his preparation for this bout had been training with USKA Chief Instructor Neil Kelly making to long trip down to Birmingham from Suffolk to leave no stone unturned as he prepared for the biggest fight of his career so far.
First up for USKA we had 11 year old Amad 'The Assassin' Azim taking on an on form fighter in Scotland's Harrison Green who has just returned from the ICO World Championship as a World Champion.
Amad and Harrison before this contest had met twice before holding a win over each other so this match up was as even as it gets.
After three rounds of great action all three judges had it two rounds to one in favour of the USKA Assassin Amad.
A great win against a brilliant opponent.

Next up for USKA we had 9 Year Old Rayaan 'The Rocket' Ellahi in against Cohan Platts from the Dragonfoot Kickboxing and Boxing Gym in Barnsley for the WRSA Midland Area Kickboxing Title.
This was Rayaan's first title belt attempt and he intended to seize the opportunity with both gloves to continue his run of great form following four Gold medals at the ICO World Championship in Wales.
From the opening bell Rayaan put on a master class showing skills and maturity way above his years to wow the crowd.
By the third round the referee had seen enough and called a halt to proceedings awarding Rayaan the win and the title by Referee's stoppage.

Next for USKA we seen another fighter in his first ever title fight in Isa 'The Hurricane' Khan when he challenged Dorian Weiskineski for the ICO Midland Area Low Kick Title belt.
Going into this fight Dorian had got a lot more experience than Isa on Gala events and fighting for titles but Isa was coming off a great run of form after winning four World Championship Gold medals in Wales and was more than up for the challenge to prove he belongs on this stage.
Following five fast pace closely contested rounds Isa was crowned a worthy points winner to the delight of the USKA crowd.
The main event of the evening seen 'Lightning' Leon Dunnett fighting out of CKA Kickboxing Gym and fine tuned by Neil Kelly at USKA Fight Factory take on the incredibly talented and tough Hendrick Djalo from Portugal.
In a fight that seen multiple knockdowns on both sides, point deductions and blood and guts exchanges Leon Dunnett was crowned ICO Professional European Champion by Unanimous decision.
The fight that will be talked about for a long time to come had the whole room on the edge of their seats and became an instant classic!
We would like to congratulate all our fighters and their opponents for putting on some awesome fights, the ICO and WRSA for affording our fighters the opportunity to fight for their title belts, the USKA coaching team of Neil Kelly and Mushy Younis for getting the fighters ready for battle, Gavin Burrows and his team at TMA Fight Series for delivering and absolutely amazing show from start to finish and allowing our fighters to be part of it and of course all of our spectators who purchased a ticket and showed up to support.
