On Saturday 4th October, the ICO Team England squad came together for one final time at the USKA Fight Factory in Birmingham for their last dedicated training session before the World Championships in Swansea. With competition week fast approaching, the sense of urgency and excitement was impossible to miss.
This session was all about sharpening tools and locking in final details. Fighters pushed themselves through a demanding schedule of technical drills, Padwork combinations, and conditioning, ensuring every aspect of their preparation is dialled in for the world stage. Energy on the mats was electric, with each athlete pushing their limits and supporting one another in true team spirit.
The day also carried a strong sense of unity. With kits already collected and medicals completed, focus now turned purely to performance. Every round, every exchange, and every drop of sweat was a reminder of the responsibility that comes with wearing the ICO England badge.
As the countdown to Swansea enters its final days, confidence is growing within the squad. The hard work has been done; now it’s about refinement, discipline, and arriving at the Championships ready to perform at their very best.
