In just over one week's time 11 fighters from the USKA Fight Factory will travel to Nagykanizsa in Hungary to fight at the ICO World Championships.
The event from 14th-16th October will be held at the spectacular Kanizsa Sports Arena and will the first Post Covid ICO World Championships since 2019 when it was held in Scotland. It is sure to be a great event with all the international teams chomping at the bit to prove their dominance and eager to pit their skills against the best that the competition has to offer.
Our fighters earned their position on the team by qualifying at the ICO British Championships in May and over the last 5 months have been working hard at the USKA Fight Factory and on their ICO Team England Squad training sessions to give them the very best chance of medaling against some of the best fighters in the World.
That said it will be a tough task for USKA at this year's Championships with only 3 of the 11 fighters on the squad having previously fought at international level. Their coaches however have felt that they have prepared well and are confident that they will put a good account of themselves in and do themselves, their families, their club and their Country proud.
We would like to wish our warriors the very best of luck in their quest for World Championship Gold and of course on safe travels both to and from the event.
