10-09-22 - 2 Fights, 2 Wins, 2 Ko's for Ateeq and Shakeel at the TMA Fight Series Event

The winning streak continued this evening for two of our fighters when they stepped into the cage at the TMA Fight Series International Fight event at the Premier Suite in Cannock.

The show featured Kickboxing, K-1, Boxing and MMA action and had a stacked 15 bout card featuring some of the best fighting talent in the country.
First up for USKA and in the first fight on the bill we had 19 year old Ateeq Al Rehman making his Full Contact debut against Street Fight Club's Camy Hill in a match made at 66kg.
Camy brought with him previous Boxing experience and you could tell in the first round with Ateeq getting caught more than he should have with overhand rights that had the USKA Fighter respecting his power.
After a consort with his corner after the first Ateeq started the second stronger landing flush right hands and then dropping Hill with a hard straight leg body kick.
After the count Ateeq moved in for the kill again landing the kick clean to the body dropping Hill for the count leaving Ateeq the winner by 2nd round Stoppage.

Supporting the main event we had International action for the WRSA -60kg 5 Nations Title over 5 rounds with USKA's Shakeel 'Showtime' Hussain taking on Northern Irelands Teak Tough Ben Patterson from Belfast who came over with good credentials and a reputation as being as strong as they come.
Shakeel however is not a respecter of reputations and is in the form of his career at the moment and this showed tonight dropping then stopping the Irish man in the very first round with a beautifully delivered turning side kick to add the 5 Nations Belt to his ever growing collection.

So it was 2 out of 2 with 2 KO's for team USKA wrapping up a great nights work.

Big thank you to USKA Corner Team Qasim beg, Mushy Younis and Usman Mohammed for looking after our boys, Gavin Burrows and his team at TMA Fight Series for the opportunity and the stage for our Warriors to do their thing, The WRSA (world ring sports assosiation) for recognizing Shakeel's talent and affording him the opportunity to contest their title and to each and every supporter of the USKA Fight Team that purchased a ticket to watch them show their skills and talent and cash in on all their hard work.
Well done Ateeq and Shak, you did us proud... Osu!
