11-05-25 - USKA Shine at first BLCC Back with 13 fighters in action!
After a long lay off we were back at a BLCC Ring Continuous Kickboxing event today with a team of predominantly novice fighters all eager to gain experience.
The WFA promoted event at the Meadway Sports and Social Club in Kitts Green, Birmingham had clubs and fighters travelling from all over the country to compete.
The 13 fighter USKA Fight Team headed by USKA Chief Instructor Neil Kelly, USKA Coach Mushy Younis and Junior Coach Julia Glowacz consisted of Ismaeel Zaman, Adam Mohammed, Keyaan Shabir, Rayaan Ellahi, Ibrahiim Shabir, Taiya Lovelock, Kevin Serdari, Haidar Khan, Angelos Sechou, Ahsaan Mahmood, Isa Khan, Mikaeel Mohammed and Julia Glowacz.
With 6 of the team making their debuts today it was all about experience gained and we definitely got that with lots of things we can bring back to the gym next week to improve and grow from.
We were very happy with everyone's performances and know that the future of USKA is looking very bright indeed with this next generation of Superstars in the making coming through.
Well done to all of our fighters in action today and a big thank you to the coaches, our supporters, the tournament organisers and the BLCC for what was one of their best events to date.
The next BLCC event will be held at the Aero-Kick gym in Birmingham on 22nd June for anyone who wants to work hard to prepare and get ready to compete.
