14-05-23 - Ateeq 'Pacman' Al Rehman wins Southern Area Title in Kent

We had a fighter on the road today fighting over 5 rounds of Full Contact Kickboxing in Kent for the Southern Area Title.
USKA's Ateeq 'Pacman' Al Rehman was taking a significant step up in class in his first title fight and this his first 5 rounder against Jay Taylor from Kingdom Kickboxing gym in Kent.
Taylor going into this fight was a talented tested and proven operator who had previously held the belt and had also fought over the championship distance on multiple occasions in the past.
The title fight was part of the Maidstone Mayhem 3 Fight Series Fight Sport event held at the Ballin' Night Club in Maidstone.
Following a great fight going the full distance Ateeq's hand was raised as a Unanimous Points Decision winner as he was handed the title belt to the delight of his travelling supporters.
A big well done to Ateeq and his corner team of Qasim Beg, Sean Quinn and Mushy Younis on a great victory away from home and a big thank you to all the support who made the long journey to the show to help cheer Ateeq to victory.
