14-12-24 - 100 Percent Pass rate on USKA's longest ever Grading examination!
We conducted out latest General Grading here at the USKA Fight Factory today with 60 students attempting their next coloured belts.
December is always a busy Grading for us and today was no different with us having 9 belts contested right up to Junior Black Belt level.
Our students had been preparing hard for these belts stepping up the intensity especially over the last four weeks and once given the green light on their readiness by their instructor Qasim Beg they knew they were in for a long and arduous day if they were to reach the prescribed level and pass mark.
An USKA Grading is and has always been an honest assessment of standard. It needs to be taken seriously and it needs to be prepared for correctly.
Some of our students maybe took their foot off the pedal in their preparation which reflected in a lower than expected score but with that said hopefully lessons have been learned for next time out.
We did also however have some very good performances today and we would like to give a special mention to our A Star Grader Kaifah Imran who attained a superb 93 / A- on her Junior Black Belt Grade.
We would also like to give special recognition to Kaifah's fellow Jnr Black Belt candidate Maryam Sarfraz who scored an impressive 83 / B grade.
Both 15 year old girls have been training for over 6 years to bring them to this point and now see themselves only one belt away from the coveted USKA 1st Dan Black Belt.
In the longest ever USKA grading 8 hours 45 minute in total (9 hours 45 minutes if you include the warm up class) in front of USKA Senior Instructor Qasim Beg and USKA Chief Instructor Neil Kelly we impressively had 100% pass rate across the board.
Congratulations to all of our successful graders and as always a big thank you to Senior Instructor Qasim Beg for preparing our students to grade.
Our next scheduled grading will be held on the second week in March 2025 for anyone making plans to grade.
