15-04-23 - Two Wins out of Two on the TMA Fight Series Event

It was two out of two for Team USKA tonight at the TMA Fight Series Championship Fight Event at the H Suite in Birmingham following two really entertaining and competitive fights.
First up for USKA we had Ateeq 'Pacman' Al Rehman take on Callum Flint from Amber Valley MMA trained by Fight Legend Dale 'The Snail' Wood in a 3 Round Amateur K-1 Contest.
Both Ateeq and Callum were both making their K-1 debut's and treated the crowd to a brilliant back and forth war over the three round distance.
At the sound of the final bell Ateeq took the decision by majority points decision but big credit to both fighters on a close and competitive fight throughout.
Next up for USKA we had Shakeel 'Showtime' Hussain attempt to add the WRSA European title to his ICO European crown when he took on the very highly regarded Unbeaten French Champion Mael Montagne.
Montagne brought with him and impressive 20 fight record with 17 Wins and 3 Draws against Shakeel's Unbeaten 11-0 ledger. 
Montagne started very strong out of the blocks pushing the pace with Shakeel staying very composed and controlling the distance well between the two.
As Montagne's pace dropped Shakeel really found his flow and went about his work in a very professional manner hurting his man to the body on multiple occasions and scoring two knockdowns on route to a Unanimous points decision victory.
