11 USKA Fight Team fighters were on the road again today competing at the NLP Oxford Champions Open at the White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre in Oxford.
The team headed by Coaches Qasim Beg and Mushy Younis consisted of... Amad Azim, Rayaan Ellahi, Krystal Durham, Elijah Brown, Ollie Cooke, Haidar Khan, Julia Glowacz, Kaifah Imran, Maryam Sarfraz, Isa Khan and Mati Klaczek.
A mixed bag of results for us this week with less categories entered due to less disciplines and also some divisions not contested.
This coupled with some poor performances on our part and we have to say it, below par officiating on a few occasions.
That said, there is value from every experience good, bad and indifferent and the team and their coaches will draw from what they experienced today and bring it back with them to the gym next week continually marching forward looking for improvement.
We ended the day with 16 Medals including 10 Golds, 2 Silver's and 4 Bronze medals.
