We hosted a Charity USKA Supergirl Competition today at the USKA Fight Factory that was open to any of our female members to compete in.
Despite us only confirming it two weeks before and the weather being bitterly cold we managed to get together 25+ competitors names in and it ending up being a superb day for all in attendance.
The Supergirl Competition itself consisted of 10 individual events each one tapping into a different skill of strength, agility and tactics with points up for grabs depending on how well you did in that particular event.
All the points on completion were tallied up leaving us with a top three in each age group receiving trophies and everyone else receiving medals for a great effort.
A massive thank you to USKA Female Division Ruqayya Griffith for organizing the event, to all the helpers that helped officiate it and to all the competitors of course that supported who as well as having a great day helped to raise funds for our charity project for this year of building a Mosque in Uganda in the memory and name of our beloved and dearly missed students Khuzaimah Douglas and Azmat Yaqub.

Following the Supergirl Competition we awarded some presentation trophies and medals to some of our girls who have trained hard and excelled in certain areas of their training throughout the year.
