18-06-22 - WKN 5 Nations Title Success for Showtime Shak in Wolverhampton.

Continuing a run of hard fights and tough challenges for Shakeel 'Showtime' Hussain he was pitched in tonight with one of Ireland's top ranked fighters in Corey 'The Wolf' O'Malley from the World Famous Black Dragon's Kickboxing gym in Galway for the WKU -60kg 5 Nations Title.
O'Malley on paper was definitely being touted as Shak's biggest test to date with the Irish Man known to be a big hitter and with him being a former holder of the WKO Featherweight World Title.
The Show titled 'The Battle Of Knights' at the Wolverhampton Racecourse Function Suite showcased a stacked card of action with Shakeel's fight against O'Malley sitting in the Co-Main event of the evening slot with everyone anticipating a great clash of styles.
Following five rounds of Shakeel dominating the action targeting the body of the taller man and using the footsweep to good effect Shakeel showed to be a level above the Irish man with all three judges in agreement scoring the bout 50-45 to the USKA man by a Unanimous decision win to pick up the WKU 5 Nations belt.
It has been a crazy run of fights for Shakeel that now will lead him to a well earned rest before his coaches decide what is next for this young superstar in the making.
