21-02-26 - 21-03-26 - 100 Percent Pass Rate & A New Black Belt Crowned at USKA General Grading!
USKA delivered once again this today with an outstanding 100% pass rate and a truly special Black Belt success at the USKA Fight Factory General Grading.
Despite the grading falling straight after Ramadan and on Eid weekend, we saw 27 students step up to attempt their next grades, all rising to the challenge and earning their belts.
Candidates ranged from Red Belt (1st Grade) through to 1st Dan Black Belt (11th Grade), with USKA Chief Instructor Neil Kelly putting everyone through a thorough and demanding examination. Every aspect of the USKA syllabus was assessed, with close attention to technique, understanding and overall performance.
The grading lasted approximately 5 1/2 hours in total (6 1/2 hours including the preparation and warm up class), with all candidates showing great effort, focus and determination throughout.
A very special mention goes to our 1st Dan Black Belt candidate, Maryam Sarfraz.
After 8 years of dedication, having started her journey at just 9 years old, Maryam successfully passed her Black Belt grading with an impressive score of 85 / B.
Her achievement is a true reflection of hard work, resilience, sacrifice and personal growth, and marks a major milestone in her martial arts journey.
Congratulations to all of our successful graders, a fantastic achievement for everyone involved.
A big thank you also goes to all of our instructors and coaches for their continued hard work and commitment in preparing our students to such a high standard.
Our next General Grading will take place in June, and we look forward to seeing the next group step up to the challenge.
