21-11-21 - USKA Fantastic Four bring back the wins on TMA World Championship Card

Four fighters from the USKA Fight Factory fought on the TMA Fight Series World Championship Kickboxing card on Sunday 21st November at the H Suite in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
The show was stacked with some great fights and we were honoured to have our our team showcased on such a great event.

First up we had 10 year old Zain Amer taking part in his third contest against Fight Station's Kienan Sturgess. Kienan had taken the fight on the week of the event after Zain's original opponent had pulled out through to contracting Covid.
Zain proved a little to strong for the brave Kienan and forced a referee to call a halt midway through the second round to claim the win.

Second up for us we had Kaifah Imran give away 4kg and quite a bit of height against TMA gym's Leah Butler. Again Leah was stepping in on fight week following Kaifah's original opponent picking up and unfortunate injury.
Kaifah negated Leah's height advantage well and outworked her way to a well deserved Unanimous points decision.

Third up for us we had Shakeel 'Showtime' Hussain taking part in a Full Contact contest against Ben Clifford from QFC gym. Shakeel had too much for the outgunned Clifford forcing a second round stoppage to notch up another win.

In the main event of the evening we witnessed the Comeback fight of Qasim 'The Dream' Beg following his first loss in August stepping up a weight to challenge tough French fighter Thomas Duval for the AFSO Light Welterweight World title belt.
Duval had a reputation as being very fit and durable after going the distance with another World Champion Dylan Cheema on his previous visit to the UK.
Qasim got back to winning ways in a fantastic fight that culminated in an 11th round Stoppage for the USKA man.
This win also brought about Qasim's 50th Full Contact win and makes him an outstanding 5 times Professional World Kickboxing Champion.

Congratulation to all our guys and girl who's performances made us very proud indeed.

A big thank you to USKA coaches and cornermen Neil Kelly, Sean Quinn and Phil Richards, all our fighters sparring partners and team mates who have played a part in their victories. everyone who bought a ticket to the event and showed their support and of course Gavin Burrows and the TMA Fight Series for the opportunity and the platform for our team to do what they do.
