22-06-24- USKA Magnificent Seven shine in Chippenham with 'almost' a clean sheet of wins!
It was a road trip to Chippenham in North-West Wiltshire today for the USKA Fight Team where seven of our fighters were in action on the 'Champion of the Club' Kickboxing and Boxing Gala at the Constitutional Club.
Topping the bill for USKA was 'Killah' Kaifah Imran fighting for a WRSA English Kickboxing Title against home fighter Izzy Ashe from the CKA Kickboxing gym and Mateusz Klaczek challenging Kamil Chodowrowski from the Tough House Gym in Weston for a WRSA Boxing Area Title.
Also featuring on the card were Julia 'Golden Girl' Glowacz in a Full Contact bout against Alicia Powell, Mariam 'The Storm' Sarfraz in a Full Contact bout against Molly Marshall, Zain 'The Hammer' Amer in a Full Contact match against Dylan Snare, Mohammed 'Pretty Boy' Ibraheem in a Full Contact Match against Oakley Cotterall and Mohammed Usman in a Full Contact match against Brandon Davies.
So it was going to be a busy away day for Team USKA and corner team Qasim Beg, Mushy Younis and Ateeq Al Rehman.
Julia got us off to a flying start with a Unanimous Points Win.

Unfortunately we were robbed of a clean sheet of wins with Usman's fight when his bout was ruled a No Contest following some crazy behaviour from his opponent at the end of the first round that we felt should have resulted in a disqualification.
After everything had calmed down the promoter and chief WRSA supervisor both felt that Davies was in the wrong and were looking at banning him from future events so we hope the official decision gets changed at some point in the near future.
What a day, Seven Fighters, Six wins and a pretty unsatisfactory no contest but most importantly of all, good performances that the USKA Coaches are happy with.
We would like to thank everyone who purchased a ticket and made the journey to go and support our Magnificent Seven, Show promoter Annabelle Lloyd and her team at CKA for the invite and the WRSA for the title opportunities afforded to our young warriors.
