24-01-26 - ICO Squad Training starts us off on the road to the ICO World Championships in France!
The ICO Squad Training for the 2026 season kicked off today at USKA Fight Factory, as preparations begin for the ICO World Championships taking place in Thonon-Les-Bains, France this October.
These exclusive squad training sessions will play a key role in selecting the athletes who will go on to represent Team England at what is set to be the biggest and strongest ICO World Championships to date.
Today’s session was led by USKA Chief Instructor and Head ICO Team England Coach, Neil Kelly, and was extremely well attended, with just under 50 participants and World Championship hopefuls travelling in from a wide range of gyms and clubs across the UK. Everyone benefited from the high-level drills, structured training, and the wealth of experience Neil brings to the squad environment.
The next ICO Squad Training session will take place again at USKA on Saturday 21st February, for anyone looking to attend and trial for the team.
Well done to everyone who took part today — your effort and attitude helped make it a productive and enjoyable session for all.
Watch out France… the English Lions are on their way!
