Julia “Golden Girl” Glowacz delivered a composed, clinical performance under the lights at the Maximus III World Class Martial Arts Gala at the Sports Connexion Arena in Coventry today, securing a well earned Unanimous Points Decision victory over a tough and determined Paris Carroll in one of the fights of the event.
From the opening bell, Julia set the tone with sharp movement, intelligent shot selection, and excellent ring control. Working behind a disciplined guard and crisp combinations, she consistently found her range, mixing her hands and low kicks effectively to keep Paris thinking and on the back foot.
Paris showed great heart throughout, pressing forward in the later stages in an effort to close the distance, but Julia’s composure and ring IQ shone through. She remained calm under pressure, countering cleanly and dictating the pace of the contest across all five rounds.
As the fight progressed, Julia grew stronger and more confident, landing the cleaner, more effective strikes and demonstrating the technical edge that separated the two fighters on the scorecards.
After five high quality, crowd pleasing rounds, all judges were in agreement, awarding Julia a Unanimous Points Decision victory, another impressive milestone in her already outstanding young career.
A fantastic performance against a very game opponent. Full credit to Paris Carroll for her toughness and attitude throughout. she will no doubt bounce back and work her way back into championship contention in the near future.
