27-11-22 - Three out of three wins for USKA on the TMA Fight Series International Fight Night
We had a clean sweep of success for three of the USKA Fight Factory team of fighters this evening on the TMA Fight Series International Kickboxing Fight Gala at the H Suite in Birmingham.
First up for USKA we had Zain Amer challenge for the TMA -35kg International Title taking on Unbeaten French Fighter Stan Darcis over 5 Rounds of Full Contact Kickboxing.
Stan came with a great reputation and it was refreshing to see two Unbeaten Junior fighters challenging for what was going to be the first ever TMA International Title Belt.
In the first round it was Zain that settled the quicker and was employing great timing with his shots making Stan miss then making him pay with effective counter attacks.
The second seen Zain go up a gear again backing Stan up to the ropes, throwing impressive combinations and finishing with hard round kicks to the body.
The third round started with Zain stepping it up again pinning his opponent in the corner leaving the referee Harvey Harra with no alternative but to administer a standing 8 count sensing the French fighters distress.
The fight continued with Zain jumping on Stan again with a flurry of techniques with the referee this time having to jump in and wave the fight off leaving Zain the victor and new TMA International Champion by way of the third round TKO.

Next up for USKA we had Ateeq Al Rehman take part in his second Full Contact bout against another local fighter in Hakim Nasir from the Fearless MMA Gym over 3 Rounds.
At the sound of the first bell Hakim was quick out of the blocks putting Ateeq under pressure and pushing him back to the ropes.
The very physically strong Hakim was fighting at a very high pace and Ateeq for the most part was trying to tighten up and ride the storm waiting for Hakim to slow down.
Round two seen a reversal of tempo with Ateeq pressing forward working combinations and in particular body shots that seemed to be slowing a now tired Hakim down.
In Round three Ateeq again pressed forward landing the higher volume of shots but Hakim to his credit managed to find some heavy single shot counter attacks in the eye of the storm.
At the final bell Ateeq was announced as a Unanimous Decision points winner in an entertaining and close fight.

Last into the ring for USKA we had the Unbeaten Shakeel 'Showtime' Hussain take on his toughest challenge to date in Portugals Rodrigo Marques for the ICO -60kg European Title over 5 Round of Full Contact Kickboxing.
The well travelled Marques was the more experienced fighter going into the bout with a record of 30 fights with 25 wins with a reputation for being very tough having never being stopped or having ever taken a count.
With that in mind Shakeel and his team knew they were probably going to be in for a long night and got themselves into peak physical condition sensing the job at hand.
Over five rounds it was Shakeel who controlled the distance, out working Marques with great variety of technique and on occasion out hustling the always dangerous Portuguese fighter to grind out a convincing Unanimous points win
with scores of 50-46 twice 50-45 on the final scorecard.

So it was three out of three for Team USKA bringing back two new title belts to the gym in what has to be said some very impressive performances.
A big thank you to Gavin Burrows from the TMA Fight Series for the stage allowing our fighters to do their thing in the ring.
The ICO and again the TMA for the Title Opportunities.
Our Opponents and their teams for the challenges and last but by no means least the USKA Supporters who purchased a ticket and came out to help cheer our lads to victory. The atmosphere was unreal and everyone helped to make it such a special night.
