30-08-25 - USKA NINJA'S STAR STUDENT WINNERS - AUGUST 2025

August is always a little quieter for our USKA Ninjas, with school summer holidays, family trips, and plenty of bank holidays (not to mention the beautiful weather we’ve been enjoying!).
But while the numbers on the mats may have been smaller, the energy and content of our sessions have been nothing short of amazing.

Our young superstars have been busy with sparring, creative padwork and bagwork drills, and sharpening their skills through technical line work.
Of course, we’ve also been mixing in plenty of fun and games to keep our Ninjas engaged and motivated.
Now, as we move into September, focus shifts toward grading preparation ensuring every candidate is ready to shine in front of family and friends at their assessments.

Our USKA Ninjas Life Skills Program also continues to go from strength to strength, with the majority of parents actively using our free members-only app to reinforce positive behaviour and good habits at home.
It’s fantastic to see this strong partnership between home and dojo, helping our Ninjas grow not just as martial artists, but also as respectful and responsible young people.

This month’s Star Student Awards went to the boys with 22 awards to the girls 8 awards,, huge congratulations to all our winners, and well done to every Ninja who continues to raise the bar and earn their certificates through hard work and effort.

A big thank you to all our students, families, and instructors for making August such a rewarding and inspiring month. Onwards and upwards we go!

Back-to-School Message: Choose Kindness

At this time of year, we like to remind our Ninjas of the importance of kindness as they head back to school.

For some children, returning to school is exciting, seeing friends, meeting new teachers, and getting back into routine but for others, it can feel overwhelming or even daunting.
New classmates, fresh challenges, the pressure of schoolwork, or even worries about fitting in can cause anxiety.

That’s why kindness matters more than ever.
A smile, a kind word, or simply looking out for each other can make a huge difference to someone who’s struggling.
These small acts not only help classmates feel supported, but they also build habits that make the world a better place.

Let's teach our kids that In a world where they can be anything… That they should always choose to Be Kind!
