30-09-26 - USKA NINJA'S STAR STUDENT WINNERS – SEPTEMBER 2026

Another month comes to a close at the USKA Fight Factory and September has certainly been a busy one for our USKA Ninja’s!

The main focus throughout the month was preparation for our latest Ninja’s Grading Examination, with our classes working hard week after week to make sure everyone was as prepared as possible when grading day finally arrived.

Rather than simply running through techniques, we used the month to really raise the standard. Our Ninja’s worked on their punches, kicks, defences and combinations alongside plenty of padwork, line work, fitness, endurance, reactions and concentration drills.

As the weeks went by, it was fantastic to see the improvement across the groups. Techniques became sharper, confidence grew and, most importantly, our Ninja’s began to understand that knowing what to do is only part of the challenge. Being able to perform those techniques properly when tired, under pressure and with people watching is another skill altogether.

All of that preparation came together at the end of the month an absolutely superb September Ninja’s Grading.

Our youngsters were put through a demanding examination in front of their families and friends and we were extremely pleased with the standard on display. As always at USKA, belts had to be earned and those who successfully moved on to their next grade could be proud of the work they had put in throughout September to achieve it.

Away from grading preparation, we have continued to see fantastic numbers across our Ninja’s program with many of our classes running at or close to capacity. It is brilliant to see so many children consistently attending their sessions and continuing to develop their skills week after week.

We have also continued to recognise our Ninja’s for more than just their Kickboxing ability. Our Dojo Certificates and Be Kind Awards have once again given us the opportunity to reward great effort, attitude, behaviour, manners and kindness both inside and outside of the gym.

For star student awards it was a month for the boys winning 21 awards against the girls 9. That said, the weekly selections are getting increasingly more difficult for our instructors and coaches which has to be a good thing. Well done to both the boys and the girls on an outstanding effort!

September has been a month of preparation, progression and achievement and we couldn’t be happier with the direction our Ninja’s program continues to move in.

With another grading behind us, new belts around plenty of waists, A Charity Iron Man competition around the corner and another month of training ahead, the challenge now is to keep those standards high and continue building from here.

October, we’re ready for you!
